The Council of People's Organization (COPO) proudly offers a diverse and inclusive internship and volunteer program that caters to individuals at various stages of their educational journey. This includes high school students, Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degree candidates. Our interns are given an enriching platform to complete their practicum hours in their respective fields of study.

Our multi-departmental approach provides a broad array of internships, spanning across numerous disciplines. These encompass, but are not limited to, Counseling, Food Pantry, Senior Services, Finance, and IT departments. This structure ensures that our volunteers gain meaningful, practical experience relevant to their academic goals.
Annually, COPO is privileged to host over 500 volunteers from a wide spectrum of schools, organizations, colleges, and universities. This substantial influx of volunteer hours significantly contributes to our operational efficiency and the enhancement of our services. We take great pride in the exceptional commitment demonstrated by our volunteer community. Each year, our dedicated volunteers collectively contribute an outstanding total of over 52,000 hours. These invaluable hours facilitate the smooth functioning of our organization and significantly enhance our ability to serve our communities effectively. At COPO, we profoundly appreciate this remarkable contribution and remain indebted to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers.
