Mohammad Razvi

Mohammad Razvi was born in 1971 in Pakistan. He immigrated to the United States as a small child in the late 1970s, and his family settled in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn. He started several businesses in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn following his marriage to his wife, and founded the Council of Peoples Organization (COPO) after the September 11 Terrorist Attacks in 2001. Through COPO, engagement with law enforcement agencies, and participation in research regarding hate crimes, he worked to provide support to Muslim and immigrant communities.
Aasma Mehdi, LMHC

Aasma is a bilingual licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi. Aasma has been exposed to culturally sensitive communities including, in-patient, outpatient clinics, residential, school-based, and community-based settings throughout NYC and Long island. Aasma utilizes interventions from the schools of cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy to help meet her clients' needs.

Omer Rasheed, Esq. is a dedicated attorney practicing in New York, with a unique international perspective rooted in being called to the Bar of England and Wales. An accomplished legal professional, Omer holds a Master of Laws degree from Brooklyn Law School, underscoring his deep commitment to comprehensive knowledge in the field.

Syeda Fatima is a recent Political Science Graduate who joined our team in the summer of 2021. Ms. Fatima initially began as the assistant to the COO, but is now employed in a dual role as the assistant to both the COO and CEO. Specializing in Political Science, Ms. Fatima uses her vast experience in research and writing to provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and COO of the company. Ms. Fatima has demonstrated strong organizational skills and is able to work on multiple projects and tasks while taking into account time management. Currently, Ms. Fatima wants to pursue a Master in Public Health Policy to further advance her scope of education.

Daniyal Tufail is a bookkeeper currently working in the Finance Department at Council of People's Organization. He has a passion for numbers and helping businesses succeed. With over 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, he brings valuable expertise to his role.
Outside of work, Daniyal enjoys playing and watching sports. Basketball, in particular, is his favorite sport to partake in. He also has a strong passion for working out, and puts an emphasis on prioritizing physical fitness in his personal life.

Jannatul Bashar is a dedicated individual actively involved in her community as a volunteer. She is currently the Administrative Assistant and bookkeeper at Council of People's Organization. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting and furthering her expertise in the field of finance. She has a passion for the business field, and she is deeply invested in fostering financial success within underserved communities. In addition to her professional and community endeavors, Jannatul finds joy in writing and exploring new destinations through travel.

Bilqees Kashif is our Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Case Manager since 2021. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, English, and Arabic. Ms. Kashif, moved to the States from UAE (Dubai) in 2019 in determination to achieve better work opportunities and to advance her career in helping people.
